New Post for Year 1429H
I spent the whole morning today reading all my earlier postings in Year 2007 as well as Year 2006. I have to admit that I enjoyed re-reading the entries as much as I enjoyed the comments from my blogger/cyber friends. It was just like we were having lively cyber banters.
I enjoyed them so much that I feel inspired to continue blogging! Lagipun free kan?
In retrospect, Year 2007 has been a good year. I'm not sure whether a 'good year', 'bad year' or 'an excellent year' is an appropriate way to describe how life has been in the past one year. And to say, 'it's just another year' may sound a bit arrogant and ungrateful to the ONE up there.
So may be if you ask me, how's year 2007? The best answer that I could offer is, ALHAMDULILLAH.....I am thankful to Allah for all the nikmat and blessings that He bestowed upon me, my family and people that I cared. AlhamdulilLah. Forgive me Lord if I failed to thank you enough.
I am also glad that I managed to keep my promises (resolutions?) that I made last year. I did blog slightly more in 2007 as compared to 2006. Eventhough it was just one or two additional entries than in the earlier year, still I could proudly say that I made it.! :)
But it was the other resolution that I'm more pleased with myself that I had managed to outdo my earlier target. (Read here and here). I started my commitment sometime in November 2006 after the fasting month of that year to read and finish the Book at least once in year 2007. AlhamdulilLah, Allah gave me strength and 'kelapangan' to finish the Book not once, but three times. I am now in the last two chapters of the Book in order to make it my fourth since November 2006. And I have been complaining that that I have no time as if I am the busiest man in the whole world. In fact, I was surprised that I could finish the whole Book in slightly over 30 days from the last few days of Syaaban and finished on the last day of Ramadhan. AlhamdulilLah.
The experience thought me one thing: if we wish to do something good with good intention and sincerity, just try your best and Allah will help us along the way and take care of the rest.
Since we are now in the new year of 2008 and the Hijriyyah new year of 1429 is coming by end of today, let us be thankful for all the blessings that we have received from Allah and let us pray and commit ourselves to be a better person than last year.
My resolution this year is to maintain my last year's resolutions.
Salam Maal Hijrah to all of you. May Allah grants us forgiveness for all our mistakes and weaknesses that we have committed knowingly or unintentionally. May the blessings of Allah continue to shower upon us, our families and loved ones.

Saya rasa malu sebab azam saya satu pun tak menjadi....
My name is Kevin. I hope you will take some time to read my recommendation.
I want you to go to this site www.secretsaya.com – it's a new web application that is made in Malaysia which allow users to reveal their secrets in a form of an artwork (inclusive of photography, image editing, illustrations and others), voice recitation (inclusive of any interpretation of using voice) and writing (in the forms of random thoughts, poem, haiku fiction or anything else). Users are advised to use a 'secret' username if they don't want to be known in the community - and users are free to reveal as many secrets as they want each day. Each secret they revealed are then shared with the community in which they would be rated and commented. (taken from their site)
Their current market they're targeting now in which I found out when emailing the SecretSaya's team is MySpace users, those who are into Art movements like Bangkit and Rantai. While they might seem like a good target niche, but seriously they are not! Simply because they're the MySpace niche. They aren't web niche like us, bloggers, flickers and such. SecretSaya needs to divert their target audience – it needs broad and wider coverage – and I felt like helping them out since I believe this site can be really useful in the future, we can finally have our very own Malaysian made YouTube, DeviantArt.. to name a few.
So I hope, and I hope you guys out there can help out – help SecretSaya expand, help them be exposed to the right niche. Blog about them. Tag them. Spread the news to your friends. Lets help a Malaysian made web app!
sincerely yours,
Kevin
Salam Maal Hijrah 1429 :-)
