Cuti Sekolah

So pegi mana cuti sekolah ni?

We are now at KLIA. Just checked in for a short break to Langkawi. Left home at 7.30am.

Took opportunity to drive through SMART tunnel. Best giler. Budak-budak suka sebab terowong tu panjang. Took some pictures while driving. Jangan tiru ok.

Now waiting to board the flight. Will update later.

Great Loss to Muslim World

Updated Version The renowned Muslim Scholar, Dr. Zaki Badawi has passed away on Tuesday 24th January 2006 at 11.00 a.m. London time. I just came to know about it from a friend and immediately checked Islamonline to verify the news. They have announced about his demise here . Background Badawi, scholar, teacher and community activist, was born in Egypt in 1922. He was renowned for his interest in Islamic theology and law and as a representative and advocate of Muslims in Britain. He was the principal of the Muslim College in London, which he founded in 1986, and frequently published and broadcast on Islamic affairs. Badawi was educated at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. He obtained al-Aliyah, the equivalent of a Bachelor of Arts degree, from the College of Theology at the university, and Al-Alimiyah degree (Masters) from the Faculty of Arabic Language and Literature, Al-Azhar, in 1947. KL Marathon 2009

So what happened last Sunday the 28th? The run went out well I would say. I wish I could have put up an entry much earlier; but I was caught up in terrible deadlines in the last few days. Let the pictures do the talking. The participants were asked to collect their Race Pack on Friday and Saturday. I went to collect it on Friday (26th June) itself since I would be sending my niece to UiTM on Saturday. There were long lines divided into each race category. The lady with a tattoo on her arm was in the queue next to my line. Hope to see her again during the race. :) This is the Race Pack. It contains the running bib and another smaller bib to be attached to the bag on race day. There's a complimentary event T-Shirt inside. But I didn't wear it on the race day because......I bought a new running shirt specially for the event!. Baru la semangat. Heh he he...gaya mesti mau. Penting tu.....
