Sleeping with my Baby

I’ve learned that having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.

I’ve learned that simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child, did wonders for me as an adult.

I’ve learned that there’s nothing sweeter than sleeping with your babies and feeling their breaths in your cheeks.

I think a baby sleeping on you is such an awesome experience. I remembered when a boy of mine was about a week old and it was raining. Thunder, lightning, cats and dogs. He cried and did not stop. Eventually, I put him on me, face down, and both of us enjoyed the quietest siesta on a wet Saturday afternoon in East KL. That was 12 years ago, but i can relate to that. Kewl.
Anon,

Yes, very very true. You feel so close and connected to the baby. Priceless moment indeed.
