Hari ni dah masuk hari ke 20 Ramadhan. Di manakah bookmark tadarus anda? Adakah seiring juzuk Al Quran dengan bilangan hari-hari puasa yang telah berlalu? Ya Allah berilah aku sedikit kelapangan masa untuk membaca kitab suciMu...ya Allah.

AlhamdulilLah, Ramadhan datang lagi. Bulan Penuh Kerahmatan, Bulan Keampunan dan Bulan Pembebasan Dari Api Neraka. Salam Ramadhan Al Kareem kepada semua kawan2 bloggers dan kawan2 di dinding fb. Kita bersyukur dipanjangkan umur untuk menikmati nikmat Ramadhan sekali lagi tahun ini. Semoga kesempatan ini kita ambil dan pergunakan sepenuhnya seolah-olah ini adalah Ramadhan kita yang terakhir. ORIGINAL POSTING @12:40PM - I have to get airtickets to go back to KBR for the coming hari raya. Bookings have been made and I must pay and get the tickets issued by noon today otherwise the reservation will be cancelled. Since it is not internet bookings, tickets could only be issued at MAS ticketing office. There are only 3 MAS ticketing offices in KL. Two are located at KLIA, and one at KL Sentral. I had to rush from conference venue at Nikko Hotel and managed to reach KL Sentral at almost noon - only to be told that the system was down. And it still is, as of now. Luckily managed to ask the airlines to hold the tickets until 5PM today. But I am not sure how long I will be right here at KL Sentral, waiting.... UPDATED 3:40PM - I was ready to leave when the automatic que calling board suddenly lit up again at about 1.45PM. Waited for another 30 mins before being attended and got everything done. SMS from wife, Jul 30, 2010 @ 10:13AM - "Bang,yah sd she's getin married nxt sun" I was stunned for a few seconds. Hujan tak de ribut tak de, tiba2 maid aku nk kahwin hari Ahad ni,...lusa tu! Called my wife to get confirmation. Apparently, the scatchy details that were relayed to her by my maid were - the maid's uncle who is staying in keramat has accepted 'pinangan' from someone on her behalf. And she was just being told about it last night. No wonder there flurry on incoming calls to my maid's handphone, sampai nak goreng telur pun telefon terlekap kat telinga! And apparently too, my maid's parents back in Surabaya was not told about the uncle's decision. So how? I asked my wife. The maid informed my wife that she has no choice but to follow the decision. She's currently sorting out the matter with her parents in Surabaya. This was truly a shock for us. I knew about my maid's plan to take leave about a month towards the end of the year. S...

Picture of my kids enjoying their breakfasts this morning. We parked our car at Setiawangsa lrt station and took putra lrt ride to Dang Wangi station. Then crossed the river behind the station to the famous nasi lemak Dang Wangi. The nasi lemak there has been my regular place to fix my nasi lemak cravings. How good? Look at the people lining up behind our table!. Eventhough to drive to the place might be more convenient, I decided to add more fun in the journey. The kids loved the lrt ride.
