Are You a Sahur Person?

Fuuh. Pria terhebat betul laki Akak tu. **************** Sahur has always been a simple affair for

My Dearest Abang Akmal, Happy Birthday. Selamat Hari Ulangtahun kelahiran yang ke 5. Eventhough you are my third child, you must always remember that you are my FIRST BOY and ELDEST SON. I hope you will grow up to become the pillar of strength to the family and will take care of your Ibu, Kak Long, Kak Ngah, your baby sister Kak Chik and baby Akid . I never have a slightest dull moment with you. You are unpredictably funny and cute with your words and deeds (and misdeeds, of course). InsyaAllah. UPDATED 22 Sept 2006 Abang was so excited on the morning of his birthday. Ibu had prepared some party packs to be distributed to his classmate at the kindie. Seronok sangat sampai lupa pakai kasut nak ke sekolah. Main rembat pakai selipar buruk je. Nasib baik Ibu perasan. Sempat pusing balik rumah tukar pakai kasut. Nasib baik jugak sekolah tak jauh dari ru

Kelantanspeak

Nok main gapo? Kito main (computer) games nak? Tak nok Bukan lah, orang Kelantan cakap Tokseh bukan Tak nok Toksey (as in 'talk' + 'say') lah kan 'Ba? Bukannya tokseh. 'Ba, Meja orang Kelantan cakap apa? Kerusi? Those were the dialogues that filled my house ever since the kids came back from their short holiday back home in Pasir Mas during the recent school holiday break. Yes, they were so fascinated with their cousin's Kelantanspeak. Their father's tounge. And most of the times, I just listened from afar with Wife and tried hard not to laught it out. Once in a while they would turn to me for assurance whether they said it correctly. Or I have to be the "kamke" (as in 'come' + 'care') to determine who got it right and who got it wrong when the debates amongst the siblings got a little bit too heated. I am very glad. At least they do not forget their roots or their father's root to be more specific. And my kids are also int

Piagam Pelanggan

I Boring. Jalan jem. Dalam teksi balik dari meeting. Terpandang piagam pelanggan tertampal kat cermin teksi. (1) Mengutamakan Pelanggan (2) Mesra dan Sopan (3) Memakai Pakaian Kemas (4) Sentiasa Jujur dan Amanah (5) Memandu dengan Cermat I think these people got it all wrong. How could decently dressed be more important than driving with care ???? How could being courteous is more important than being honest and trustworthy ??? No doubt all are important. But to draw up a charter means you have prioritise and put things in the right perspective. Which one is more important vis-a-vis your services to your clients. Arrgh, lantak lah. *************** II Esok ada trip gi PD. Department punya outing. Ye lah, ofis punya family day last sekali buat kat A Famosa Resort was more than 2 years ago. Jadi kitaorang pun organise sendiri lah. The kids (as usual) are very eager and enthusiastic about the trip. Problem is, only yesterday Kak Long and Kak Ngah came back and showed a not
